Arum Spa at the Sonesta Resort is one of the newest spas on Hilton Head Island. We offer a wide range of intoxicating treatments enveloped in an ambiance that engages the senses, calms the mind and lifts the spirit. Choose from a selection of massages, body treatments, manicures, pedicures and facials including hot and cold stone, aromatherapy and wax treatments.   • COVID-19
  • As a state licensed spa, we have always followed strict sanitation and disinfection guidelines to prevent the spread of disease. Due to the uncertainty and nature of our current circumstance, we have increased our efforts surrounding best practices for virus protection. All treatment rooms, equipment and implements will be sanitized and disinfected before and after each guest.

 

  • Additionally, all shared surfaces such as our front desk counter, door handles and bathroom fixtures will be sanitized after each guest. Sanitizing supplies, including anti-bacterial soap, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes are readily available for guests and staff.Advance appointments are required and may be made by calling 843-341-2786 or by requesting an appointment from our website. To limit potential exposure, guests without appointments will not be permitted in the spa. All guests will be required to certify the status of their wellness by completing a COVID-19 Assessment.

 

  • All guests will be required to wear masks for the duration of treatments with the exception of facials where additional precautionary measures will be practiced. Due to limited space, our waiting areas are not being utilized at this time. You will be given directions for your designated waiting area at the time of booking. Directional signage will be in place for completing your in-take forms and COVID-19 Assessment. Please remain in your designated waiting area where your technician will greet you.

 

  • If you are not feeling well, please respect the health of our staff and those that they could potentially infect and stay at home. All cancellation penalties will be waived if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

 

  • Spa Etiquette

 

  • To ensure a relaxing check-in and prompt start of treatment please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Due to limited space, our waiting areas are not being utilized at this time. You will be given directions for your designated waiting area at the time of booking. Late arrivals will be accommodated based on availability. Please keep all conversations low volume to ensure a relaxing ambiance for other guests of the spa. Cell phone, lap tops and cameras are strictly prohibited. Children under 16 years old are not allowed in the treatment room relaxation area.ReservationsReservations are recommended and appointments are made based on availability. A credit card will be required to schedule appointments. If you have a preference for a male or female therapists please indicate this when you are making the appointment. Gender preference requests will be accommodated based on availability.Cancellation Policy

    A six hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments without charge. Any cancellations made after the six-hour period will result in full charge of treatment.     Gratuities

    A 20% service charge will be added to all treatments.
